Selling the Jeep, Building a Buggy

Posted in Uncategorized on April 16, 2008 by sliveroffroad

Well Sunday I listed my jeep on EBay… best place to drive traffic to my site as well as traffic to my Jeep. Ebay is a phenom in and of itself. If you want to sell something, there you go!

Well time for a buggy 609″ axles, 39’s, 3.8 suppercharged, stak, 110″ wheelbase 76″ total height or lower, coilover maybe, elec fan, auto, full hydro… Thoughts?

Wel I did finally had to refund shipping, it hurt and I LOST MONEY ON THE DEAL BUT A DEAL IS A DEAL.

Tks… & God Bless    www.sliveroffroad.com

Harlen 4/4-4/6

If you haven’t been to Harlen, KY, I would definitely recommend it! Three others and I enjoyed the riding; however, the weather royally stank! Try to go while it’s not raining! The scenery was magnificent. We rode in clouds/fog, rain, cold, mud, anything else bad you can imagine and yet it was a great time.

Recommended trails…. Top of the list lions den, rocks all at least as big as your rig shear faces to fall off of and to scale. Articulation to the extreme required. This thing pushes you and the size of your ……..

Carnage included a tire, and  a guy a service station very upset with hummer beadlocks, transfer case, broken driveshaft, 2 1350 joints, a yoke, 2 switchs, and a thumb.

I must say was highly impressed with the performance of BFG Cawlers they seemed to be just what the dr ordered! In the mud, rocks, wet dry, you name it. This trip was really my first true inspiration for a buggy. I am still very interested in horsepower but not without concern of weight. Low, 110″ wheel base 39″, auto, atlas, v8, full hydro, we’ll see! Thanks and God Bless!

We’ll take you there! www.sliveroffroad.com

So far Today

Posted in Home on March 27, 2008 by sliveroffroad

Got home from my first job today:

Borrowed a ladder to get on the roof and fix my chimney cap, I am such a baby at this point in my life… I couldn’t pull it off. My roof pitch is so steep… ridiculous. What the heck is this going to cost?? If I can get anyone to do anything.

Walked in the garage and my jeep is leaking antifreeze, (marking it’s territory) problem since I am scheduled to ride in Harlan, Ky next weekend. Better than next week I guess? I had just fixed my diff leak, no wonder. Jeeps have to leak!

Updated several web items I’m selling with better illustrated pics, I have great product but marketing/sales is always a need. I’m learning more and more everyday as I progress down this path of my own business how hard it is! The “get rich slow program”!

Keep Pushing…. Chris
